Mahara provides many opportunities of scholarly communication between students. I have found out so far that I am able to upload photos, create a journal, contribute to online Forums and create, produce and share educational artifacts {Aldred, 2010}.
I have started to add my occupational and educational experiences and think that this would be a great opportunity for future employers to understand more about me and my life.
My experience so far has unfortunately been limited, but I look forward to learning more about Mahara as I use it to complete assessment task 3 with The Bundaberg Group.
